The International Education Program at Sioux Falls Christian Schools is located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on a 40-acre campus. Students enjoy a secure, non-violent, drug-free atmosphere, where they can see their academic potential realized as well as develop wholesome and long-term relationships. SFCS does provide host families; there is a fee for this service.
Admission Criteria
Sioux Falls Christian Schools is looking for serious Christian students, those who are interested in learning about the Christian faith and lifestyle, or students who are sponsored by a Christian agency. Students are invited to apply for grades 9-12. Younger students may apply if living with a family member.
Students must demonstrate:
- Academic ability and interest (minimum "C" average or higher)
- Self-discipline
- Ability to establish priorities and carry them through
- Emotional maturity to adjust to a new language and culture
- Willingness to abide by the school policies and United States laws
Admission Dates
Standard admission: July/August for the fall or First Semester; December/early January for the spring or Second Semester
A minimum of three months should be allowed for document processing before an anticipated arrival date. SFCS does issue the International I-20 form. Students should plan to arrive at least one week before classes begin. Failure to submit all the required documents will delay the process of the application.
