Tuition Tuition may be paid semi-annually, quarterly, or in 10 monthly installments beginning in August and ending in May. One-half of the full tuition must be paid by the end of the first semester, and the full amount must be paid by the end of the school year. If one-half of the full tuition is not paid at semester’s end, eligibility for the second half of the school year will be revoked. Finance charges may be assessed in January and at the end of the school year on all past due balances. All account balances must be paid in full before transcripts and diplomas will be issued.
Hot Lunch Program “Family accounts” have taken the place of individual lunch cards or tickets. Please be sure to keep your family’s account credited with at least $50 per month per student. Each meal includes milk and costs $2.10 (additional milk may be purchased for $.35). Ala carte meal prices for middle and high school students range from $1.50 to $5.00; adult meals are $2.50. (Preschool lunches are $1.25) Free and reduced-price lunches are available to those meeting the federally mandated eligibility guidelines. An application form is made available to each family at registration.
Kid’s Corner SFC Elementary provides before-and after-school care for Preschool through 5th grade students. Hours of operation are 6:30 a.m. to 8:10 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The hourly rate is $2.75 per hour per child. The Kid’s Lodge price is $3.25 per hour
Music Fees Band is available to all 5th – 12th graders. Very few instruments are owned by SFC, so students must rent or purchase their own instrument. Students that choose to use a school-owned instrument will be charged a rental fee. All 4th and 5th grade students have the option to participate in Bell Choir.
Book Fees There are no additional fees for books used in the classroom. Students are responsible for book damages and will be invoiced for damaged or lost books at the end of the semester and/or school year.
Art Fees All high school art students will be charged a $15 Art Fee and middle school art students will be charged a $10 Art Fee. The fees are necessary to cover the increasing costs of pottery, photography supplies, and other mediums that are required for our expanding art program.
