High School |
Our goal at Sioux Falls Christian High School is to help each student grow in their personal relationship to God. We want to partner with their home and church to develop an attitude of service to others. We also want our students to develop their talents academically, socially, athletically, and creatively. We are image bearers of God, and it is our desire to help develop our students for His Kingdom work.
Sioux Falls Christian High offers a wide variety of classes to our student body. These classes range from a learning skills class to AP Spanish, Calculus, and Chemistry. Our curriculum is aligned with the State Standards of South Dakota. Our student body is required to take standardized tests through the state along with school-wide assessment. Sioux Falls Christian students have scored well above the state and national averages on ACT scores. We also offer a variety of extracurricular activities for students including: music, drama, cheerleading, dance, oral interp, soccer, golf, basketball, track, cross country, and we have plans to add football in the fall of 2007.
Our school is blessed with a wonderful Christian staff. We currently have 16 teachers in our high school. Ten of our sixteen teachers currently hold a Master's degree in their field of expertise.
