Thank you for your interest in Sioux Falls Christian Kindergarten.
The Sioux Falls Christian Kindergarten program combines a caring and nurturing environment with sound academic instruction. Our certified and highly qualified kindergarten teachers involve their students in engaging learning activities while providing appropriate opportunities for your child to grow socially. Our teachers hope to partner with you in building your child up spiritually and academically so they will be prepared for the next step in their academic instruction.
Each classroom has the assistance of an experienced educational aide, allowing our teachers to further enhance their daily lessons and also reducing the student to teacher ratio.
* 3-day first semester/5-day second semester kindergarten
(Monday, Wednesday, Friday-1st semester; Monday-Friday-2nd semester)
In kindergarten we strive to:
-Provide a Christ-centered education where each child is shown the love of Jesus Christ through everything we do.
-Learn through hands-on-developmentally appropriate activities, which instill a love for learning in accordance with state standards.
-Build a spirit of community in a caring environment where children learn how to work well with others.
-Teach children to see themselves as readers and writers by immersing our students in books and give them various opportunities to write and read, while meeting the student where they are developmentally.
-See the order and wonder of God's creation using many different manipulatives and objects to study math science, and social studies.
