AP Physics (11-12)
Credit: 1
Grades: 11-12
This course provides a systematic introduction to the main principles of physics and emphasizes the development of conceptual understanding and problem-solving ability using algebra and trigonometry, but rarely calculus. In most colleges, this is a one-year terminal course and is not the usual preparation for more advanced physics and engineering courses. However the B course provides a foundation in physics for students in the life sciences, pre-medicine and some applied sciences, as well as other fields not directly related to science. Pre-requisite: A letter grade of an "A" or "B" in Geometry and Algebra I is required for this class.

Anatomy and Physiology (11-12)
Credit: 1
Grades: 11-12
Man is created in God's image. In this class, students will learn to appreciate how perfectly God has designed his children. The complexity and design are awe-inspiring. We were truly "fearfully and wonderfully" made. Units of study include: The Organization of the human body, the digestive system, and reproductive system.

Biology (10)
Credit: 1
Grades: 10
Biology is the study of life. It is the purpose of this course to encourage the student to understand and marvel at the vastness and complexity of God's creation, from the simplest prokaryotes to mankind, created in his image. It is also hoped that students will begin to appreciate their responsibility in managing and maintaining our world, God's perfect orderly creation. Units of study include: Characteristics of Life, Heredity, Classification and Diversity, and Biological Democracy.

Chemistry (11-12)
Credit: 1
Grades: 11-12
The course goal is to understand the laws of chemistry and see that the orderliness of creation extends down to the very atom and its behavior. Approximately 30 days will be spent in the lab. Chemistry is a study of the chemical composition of matter and the chemical reactions that occur when substances are mixed. This course is an excellent preparation for college.

Earth Science (8)
Grades: 8
This course provides students with a Christian perspective on the earth sciences. Students will see God's design in studying the atmosphere, (meteorology, water in the atmosphere, movements in the atmosphere, movements in the atmosphere, and weather prediction) lithosphere, (faith and reasoning, geology, minerals and ores, rocks and fossils, mountains and hills, earthquakes and volcanoes, weathering, mass wasting, erosion) and the hydrosphere (Oceans and seas, glaciers, and ground water systems). We study the earth sciences in the light of God's word and in the Biblical framework of creation. Coursework is accomplished through the use of Christian textbooks, lab books, and hands-on demonstrations and projects.

Environment Science (11-12)
Credit: 1
Grades: 11-12
God tells us to take care of his creation. In this course students come face to face with the problems facing their environment. Students compare and contrast populations, transfer on energy, recycling regulations, pollution controls, and how they are directly effected. Units of study include land use, urbanization, food production, water resources and biodiversity.

General Science (6)

Grades: 6
General Science is our introductory middle school science course. It is a mix of topics form various science disciplines. Students learn about God's universe through the study of space science (constellations, planets, moons, comets, and many other bodies in space). We study and reflect on issues of origin of the universe all the way to astrology and why is contradicts God's word. Students also complete units in birds/embryology, ecology, rocketry, electricity and magnetism, energy, and the study of insects. General science is loaded with projects and lab activates designed to supplement the curriculum and develop a love and appreciation for God's gift of science that we are encouraged to discover all around us.

Life Science (7)
Grades: 7
This course gives foundation level studies in the field of biology/life science and and answers questions about the students themselves and living things around them. Coursework includes units on science and measurement, matter and its properties, basic chemistry, classification and organizational skills, cell structure and function, tissues, organs, systems, behavioral science and senses, microscope use, and a comprehensive study of the five kingdoms of living things. Plants, animals, protists, fungi, and monera are discussed. Life science material is presented in the light of God's word from creation perspective. Coursework includes a regular regimen of law experiments and comprehensive dissection program.

Physical Science (9)

Credit: 1
Grades: 9
This course includes units of study on matter, introduction to chemistry, energy, and modern technology. Students will learn to appreciate God's perfect organization and design in the universe.

Physics (11-12)
Credit: 1
Grades: 11-12
The course objective is to acquaint students with the laws of force and motion, enabling them to applaud the wonderful order and predictability of creation. Physics is a study of the principles that govern all events in the universe. Insight and understanding of forces, heat, wave mechanics, sound, light, magnetism, electricity, and atomic energy help make almost any career more rewarding. In addition, physics can contribute to the appreciation and understanding of a wide range of activities.
