Community Building

At Sioux Falls Christian, cultivating a strong student life and opportunities for spiritual growth are a meaningful and fun part of building a community and flourishing together!

Weekly chapel, mission trips, class competitions, volunteering, on-campus clubs, middle school House groups, and elementary community service projects are among the many activities that students take part in throughout the school year.

When faith, learning, leading, and living are all intertwined, students can flourish in their leadership skills, see themselves as part of God's story, and be challenged to live out their faith for God's glory.

"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared for us beforehand, that we should walk in them." Eph. 2:10
Inviting Growth

Chapel at SFC is a time for students to grow in their faith. Students are invited into a time of praise and worship each week in middle and high school. Most chapels include messages from pastors, youth leaders, and other members of the community. Elementary students have chapel once a month, with worship and activities that reinforce a yearly theme.

Serving Our Community

We believe God calls us to serve and love the greater Sioux Falls area and to share the hope of Jesus with those around us.

Through partnerships with organizations such as the Humane Society and the Banquet, every student, from the smallest to the tallest, has the opportunity to serve their community.

Equipping Students to Go

HS students participate in mission trips in places like Rehoboth, New Mexico, and Rosebud, South Dakota. Their faith is stretched in rewarding ways through the challenges they face.

They also learn to put faith into practice through service to the church, school, and community as part of the Mission in Action program.

Building School Spirit

Fun activities such as class competitions, middle school House rallies, Great Bear Day, and elementary Field Days build both school spirit and student/teacher relationships!

Clubs and Activities

In addition to athletics and fine arts, SFC encourages students to get involved by participating in club activities, running for Student Council, attending on-campus Bible study, being a part of the chess club, book club, and more.
